The objectives of the West Virginia Self-Insurers Association focus
on all issues which impact self-insurers and bring constructive input
to discussions and decisions relating to self-insurers.
Promote the policy and principles of sound and conservative self-insurance under the West Virginia Workers' Compensation law.
Maintain current workers’ compensation legislative reforms.
Continue an active in role maintaining vigilance and negotiating fair and balanced regulation for self-insured employers.
Provide opportunities for association members to discuss and be informed regarding self-insurance and its status.
Provide information to association members regarding proposed laws
affecting the right to self-insure and the status of self-insurers.
Keep members advised relative to administration of and decisions under
laws which may be of interest to self-insurers.
